We use subscription as the sole mode of payment for monthly fees. You can find the fee structure towards the end of this webpage: Ongoing Education
6. What are the class timings?
Batch assignment is dependent on various factors such as age, gender, country of residence, etc. After careful consideration of your application form, we will send an email regarding batch assigment.
7. Do I need any prior knowledge of music to join?
Not at all! We have beginner-level courses designed specifically for those who are new to music.
8. Can I take a trial class before enrolling?
We don't provide a trial class facility. The students typically take at least a month (4 classes) to follow what is being taught in the class. This month is a good time for the teacher as well to help the student understand the learning process.
All the classes at MKSM are running on an ongoing basis and hence attending just one class will not do justice to understanding how the class works. We'd encourage you to join/enroll for a month and if you think you are facing any challenges then you can discuss the same with the teacher and take a call accordingly.
9. Who are the instructors?
Our instructors are highly trained vocalists with extensive experience in teaching Indian classical music. The batches are taught by Maheshji Kale and his senior students. Mahesh ji teaches every 12th class for beginners and every 9th class for intermediate students. Advanced batches are taught exclusively by him.
10. What is the curriculum at Mahesh Kale School of Music?
The curriculum at MKSM is exclusively curated by Mahesh Kale himself. It reflects his deep understanding of Indian classical music and years of teaching experience, ensuring a unique and enriching learning journey for every student.
11. Are there exams or certifications available?
Yes, MKSM conducts its own exams as part of the learning process. Please note that we do not have collaborations with any other institution for exams or certifications. The assessments and evaluations are designed by Mahesh Kale and are tailored to align with our unique curriculum.
12. How do I know which proficiency level to apply for?
Kindly fill out the application form in detail so we can determine the most suitable batch for you. If you're unsure about your proficiency level, apply for the beginner level and mention your previous experience in music within the form. We will contact you to share a recording for assessment, if needed.

14. What if, despite your best efforts, a suitable batch isn’t available for me?
